Postponement of Ethereum Rio 2024

Rio de Janeiro, 17 January 2023 –

We regret to inform our community that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the venue originally planned for the Ethereum Rio event in March 2024 is no longer available. Together with challenges in securing committed sponsors on short notice, there is a high risk of potential financial losses, echoing the difficulties encountered in 2023 where organisers personally bore the financial burden.

In light of these challenges, we have decided to postpone the next Ethereum Rio from the proposed dates in March 2024  to a later date. This decision has been made to ensure that we only deliver high quality events for the community and to mitigate potential financial risks.

We understand the disappointment this may cause within the community and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. Details regarding the rescheduled event will be posted here as soon as they are finalised. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

In light of these developments, if you possess the expertise and are willing to take on the financial responsibilities associated with organising such an event in Brazil in the future, we invite you to become a part of the Ethereum Brasil project. We are actively seeking individuals who can contribute their skills and share in the vision of advancing the Ethereum ecosystem in the region.
